About 2020 Media Futures
2020 Media Futures is an ambitious, multi-industry strategic foresight project designed to understand and envision what media may look like in the year 2020. By participating in 2020 Media Futures, you’ll be contributing your vision to an innovative research project which will help build capacity and drive innovation in Ontario’s Creative Cluster by helping companies and organizations to ‘future-proof’ themselves, preparing for opportunities and challenges brought on by the rapid evolution of media.
Through the practice of “strategic foresight,” the project will enable stakeholders to better manage uncertainty through deeper understanding and anticipation of change.

About the Delphi Survey
One component of the 2020 Media Futures project is a “Delphi” survey. Our Delphi is a two-round online survey, designed to seek consensus from subject-matter experts (such as yourself) on issues which are unsettled, unpredictable, or uncertain, but yet could have major impacts on the media landscape of the year 2020.
A Delphi survey is unlike any other survey in which you might have participated. In a Delphi survey, we will not ask you to recount your perspective on past or current events, but will capture your views on where you think things are going.

As an industry professional, media expert, "pro am" and/or “thought leader,” we would like to ask you to share with us your vision of the future of media, and to explore the many uncertainties which will shape that future.
Round one of the Delphi will run from Thursday, November 4th to Tuesday, November 9th, 2010.
Round two will run from Thursday, November 11th to Friday, November 12th, 2010.
Completing each round will take about 20 minutes of your time.
